Project title: Presentation Attack Detection for Smartphone Based Biometric Authentication System
Project description: Ph.D. research is in the domain of Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) for biometric authentication System on Smartphone. This work mainly concentrates on formulating a robust and accurate PAD framework which can address new evolving presentation attacks. This study shall investigate the new presentation attacks and artefacts. New algorithms will be developed to provide the countermeasures to these type of attacks which will improve the overall recognition performance. As Biometrics is one of the important vertical in Information Security, I would like to become a student member of COINS.
